I have a Rockwell compactlogix I use the hsc card to read the encoder, however when I turn off the CPU the same zero value, can I keep the last value after turning off the CPU?

I have a Rockwell compactlogix I use the hsc card to read the encoder, however when I turn off the CPU the same zero value, can I keep the last value after turning off the CPU?

Yes you can .. Just you have to create logic for that..
