Hi,

RS232 use for Programming. And RS422 for Mitsubishi PLC communication.

You can use SC-09 Red Cable directly for HMI to PLC communication.

Good Luck

Thanks.

Hello, thanks for the answer.

what I need is to connect the hmi with my pc to extract the program it contains and save a copy.

I already connect rs232 female cable to pc and I can't communicate.

Does the rs232 cable have configuration?

Hi,

Yes , you can try 2,3,5 to 2,3,5 pin connection or 2,3,5 to 3,2,5.

And which windows operation system are you using ? Where are you from.

Good Luck.

Hello, thanks for the answer.

I'm using windows xp, I'm from Monterrey.

I already provide configuration 2,3 and 5 in rs232 of hmi and 2,3, and 5 with bridges in 7 and 8, 1,4, y6. I found a pdf file this configuration corresponds to a CABS5 communication cable. I successfully made the backup in the hmi version 6.04

in lower versions I cannot communicate by error in the version. is there even a lower version for these hmi? I currently use e-desinger version 7.52 Build 344

thanks and regards
